The Fits and Jason Bourne square off in the episode 72 of Seeing and Believing. Kevin is back in the studio with Wade this week as the duo continue their new found tradition of pairing two extremely different movies in the same show.
The Fits is the debut movie from director Anna Rose Holmer and starring newcomer Royalty Hightower. The movie follows the story of Toni (Hightower) who is always in the gym training with her elder brother. She is always observing the older girls dance team and decides to try out for the team. One by one the girls on the dance team succumb to “The Fits” as they have seizures which send the community into panic and leave the viewer wondering why these things are happening and how the move from girl to young woman is seen through the eyes of a very intense and thoughtful girl.
Jason Bourne also gets the review treatment. Matt Damon returns to the titular role of Jason Bourne and Paul Greengrass returns as director. Matt Damon once said the character would have to be reconfigured in order for him to return to the role and Wade and Kevin take apart the move to see if there is more to the film than more shaky cam footage and explosions.
